Its Raining

23rd July 2012

So what else can we do but at least explain our absence to our blog followers, yes its a dreadful summer and the Royal Burgh Of Crail which is usually smiling with bright summer weather has suffered. We havent planted our hanging baskets, we ..... and its not just us,have suffered with cancelled events. Okay, Crail Food Festival squeezed in an enjoyable weekend and East Neuk Festival managed to raise a smile with great music and amother brilliant sand sculpture outside The Honeypot. Sadly we lost the opening of Crail Festival to the weather, so what for it weve created a new all day breakfast roll with the help of some friends and our local butcher. Its a cracking pinwheel porker served with chilli chutney, rain food !
