More Things To Do Around The Honeypot
Rather than provide a list of links on what to do , here is just a wee snapshot of suggestions for a few days stay or more in Crail ....
Wake up to the smell of real coffee and freshly baked morning goods , walk the village circuit around Crail with photos en route , venture further up or down the Coastal Path
Sail out to the stunning May Isle ( pictured left ) and laugh at the antics of puffins or maybe catch a glimpse of porpoises and seals during the trip.
Drive the 10 minutes or so into St Andrews and look around one of Scotland most historic towns , buy some cracking cheeses from Mellis , fish from Keracher or buffalo mozzarella from the Italian shop.
Play golf at Balcomie or Craighead and sample a perfectly poured pint of Deuchars IPA with our next door neighbours The Golf Hotel , or taste one of our chilled Scottish beers and sit in the seclusion of our back garden.
Fish for salt and freshwater species , you can borrow our rods or take the kids crabbing with our nets , our biggest was a a 2lb Pollack from Kilminning rocks , but that was a lie !
Dine out with our compliments , see our eating out guide for some suggestions on local food venues , or buy a crab and sit by the harbour.
